    Default Can anyone left here turn off VATS?

    I'm looking for somebody that can turn off the Vats System and maybe give my stock tune a boost....

    On a 99 GMC 5.3/4l60e
    10 Kia Forte EX (Wifes) 145k miles

    12 Chevy Sonic LTZ HB Turbo (My DD) 102k miles

    95 Chevy 1500 Ext cab 4x4 (my spare and toy) 240k miles, now with a 1999 5.3 and 4L60e with 191k miles.

    I don't think there are many left here at all. Maybe some like me will get tired of Facebook and wander back.

    If all you are wanting is to have the VATs turned off, and some minor stuff, the guy I got my base tune from is good. You just have to mail him your ecu. He's in CA, and I just used standard USPS, and the turnaround was only about a week. That's kind of tough on a daily, but it's an option. Could also buy a used ecu from him, have it programmed and sent to you, then you send your other one back for the core. His name on EBAY is CoolMike222 if you want to check with him.

    Thanks Levi, I've heard a lot of people likeing that guy. Its not my daily driver so the wait is OK.
    But I want to know if I can tune a stock engine and would it make a difference.
