    Default Any E85 users?

I'm seriously considering switching fuel to E85 for the N/A 12:1 compression motor being rebuilt.

    Thoughts? Experiences?

Sorry, I cant help. No one sells E85 in my area or I would probably be running it myself.

Uniontown is the only place local I know of to get E85 fuel and winter blends ethanol content are around E70.
The fuel is nice for anything forced induction and not wanting to run 110+ race fuel all the time. In a NA application the fuel alone is worth up to 10hp as in a GM flex fuel machine at the expense of giving up a few MPG. Burns a little cooler and absorbs combustion heat. Methanol injection could be something to think about, it's a better fuel than E85 but is twice as corrosive and poisonous. You can run an AlkyControl system with 93 pump fuel being NA still, and it will work just as well as race fuel and better than E85.

I was just up at that Exxon on 279, and they don't have E85. I've not really kept tabs, but as far as I know, they never have. I don't have any experience with DuLaney Oil though, so I guess it's possible they sell it there. There number is (304)296-3911 if anyone wants to check into it though.

Need to talk to Robbie "Yellowrocket" on this site. He is/was running E85 on the 514" Cadillac engine in the Cutlass. I'm still certain the only E85 pump local is Uniontown, and that is where Robbie was buying his fuel.

    The internet (e85locator.net) was wrong!

Dulaney Oil doesn't have E85 either. The ones posted above was all I found anywhere remotely close.

Now you know the struggle of running E85 and your not on the fuel yet.
Options still are, run your Mod engine on 93 octane with methanol injection, or Buy RaceGas and mix your own fuel, run real race fuel.
I will push running methanol in engines onto any and everyone who will listen.

Yeah uniontown is where I get my fuel. I have 2 55 gallon drums that I rotate through. I'm at 12 to 1 with iron heads and she runs great. Works out for me but my car is a long ways from daily driver. One thing I've learned is you have to go way overkill on fuel system. With an 1100 HP mechanical pump and -8 lines fuel pressure gos to 0 at the top of high gear! Running a dominator electric with -12 to pump -10 to motor now
