my 2011 2SS

bought used 11-11-2013 at Toothman Ford in Grafton, only had 3975 miles on it. looked new inside, outside was close to perfect. put 2200 on it since and it is a blast to drive. changed out part of the exhaust to a SW retro chambered catback. got a nice low rumble! Tinted the windows, upgraded the stereo to a more powerful amp and speakers.

Ye I did a lot of listening to different Systems before I went with the Stainless Works one. considered Solo also but I thought the SW retro chambered system was deeper in tone and weighed less, had a built in X pipe and had a cool non traditional muffler type. I knew I could not afford to do everything I wanted to do in the short term so wanted to make sure the sound I got was low and sounded good like a muscle car should. in the end Stainless works retro chambered cat back was the easy winner! I like the sound so much I have a hard time doing further upgrades. I would like at some point do Long Tube headers, High Flow catalytic converters or off road version(not sure on this), Cold air in take preferably the Z28 one. Ported throttle body, and a nice tune. just hate messing with the current sound. the price you have to pay for more power I guess. might be a couple years before I get all of it done.

just uncovered my SS, took the tender off, here she is, unwashed in 9+ weeks, just got to wait til the rain comes later this week to clean the roads up a bit, hoping to have the new rims put on this Saturday

I never got around to covering mine. The vent tube popped off the dryer and now there's a good layer of lint on top of it. I've got the interior ripped out to give a good cleaning, but it's ready to go as soon as that's all back in.

just realized I forgot to post pics of my new rims, ditched the chrome OEM ones due to an issue with not being able to keep them in balance. went to FR41 chrome rims in stock sizes. the off sets put the wheels a little closer to the wheel well edge so they look better and are a bit wider, sorry for the screwy pics, too late for me to bother doing it right
