I agree Levi, I wouldn't even go another dealer. I'd be going straight to the SRT order form if I had some disposable cash.

Yea its going to be hard to pass up a car that will perform like that for under $100k. However, for what 90% of us do......the challenger is a pretty damn good bargain.

If I was going to buy a Challenger, it would be an older R/T or SRT car with a 6 speed. I would rather have something with some scratches and scuffs and some money for gas.

I'd much rather have the Hellcat and $40k in gas money. Anyway, standing next to the new Vette, the rear end makes me want to puke.

    I never really wanted a Vette. They're nice but I'd take a 98-02 F body over a Vette anyday.

Kenny. If anything, I'd wait for a used Hellcat. Totally different animal than the previous Challenger. My truck isnt much slower than the previous R/T, lol. Hell, even the SRT 392 was only good for high 12's with a good driver. Most of the time it was a 13 second car.

It would be fun to buy a used one a little ragged and do some serious weight reduction.

In all reality though, I would dump 20 grand in my Dart before I would entertain a hellcat.

I hear that. I'd probably have a 70 cuda and one of the fastest sleeper trucks in the country too.

I'm with Steve... It's fat and the least appealing of the 3 muscle cars. Not saying it's ugly

    I'll decipher speeds remarks...

It's not a Ford Mustang and I don't like it.

I like the new Mustang better than the Camaro. I never really liked the interior or exterior of the new Camaro. That said, I like the engine offerings from GM way better than Ford. The OHC idea is normally a good one but somehow the pushrod engines are thrashing it.

It's cool, it looks good, it's heavy but I don't think it should have been called a Hellcat.... something much cooler already has and uses that name and it was made by Buick. But not copyrighted so whatever lol

now THAT hell cat I would rock.... knew i had heard that name before... .. Something that requires ammo money and gas money to operate... that won't be cheap.
