Your 5.3 should be what, a LY5? Should be a J in the 8th space of your VIN or show the RPO code in the glove box or wherever...
If I'm not wrong about that, your stock cam is dependant on whether or not you have the AFM. I couldn't remember if yours had it or not, so here's both.
196/201, .488 intake/.488 exhaust for the non Active Fuel Management.
196/201, .491 intake/.491 exhaust for the Active Fuel Management.
I couldn't find anything about the LSA, but the source I found the above info on says it's around 122.5 ish.

It is an AFM motor I'll check the vin tonight to make sure that's the right specs. Either way it NEEDS a bigger cam for sure I just didn't want to go too big
