Default Northern Ohio Valley Region SCCA

I may have a possible lot lead in Clarksburg, WV to host an Autocross. It's a bit far for me coming from Steubenville, Ohio. Just wondering how many people I might get and any SCCA members that would be willing to help out. It's a long shot but I want to know if it becomes available I will have some extra help. I am sure you have questions but at the moment I do not have very many answers - date, lot size, condition.. etc.

Maybe my question should be anyone interested? should I pursue this or pass?

I'd be interested too. I cant think of any lots here in town that would be suitable for an auto-x. I've no doubt that if it were advertised there would be a nice turnout.

Mon valley sports car club used to run one and would probably bring a few folks..... We thought we had a good lot at Lincoln high school but it just wasn't good enough for another scca group.

I've been racking my brain trying to think of a lot that would be suitable. Everything here is small and most everything isn't in exactly what I would call great shape.

It's the Audi dealership that contacted me. Figured they would have a large lot by moving some cars around. as for Wheeling - I would love to have events there. Not that far from me and we would get people from Pittsburgh, Wheeling, St Clairsville, A real tri-state event

It would be a hell of a tight course at the audi dealership. I dont see it, but im no expert. Im sure if it were doable there though, they could just move their cars across the street

I am sure that I could pull a decent crowd possibly for a wheeling one.

I'd definitely be willing to help locally. I'm an SCCA member and right in Clarksburg. What would you need from us?
