Just for reference, basically, what the 1SH package consisted of, was the NHRA Special Edition decals on the rear filler and the fenders, the Hurst shifter and the power steering cooler. It was an option on the Formulas and the T/A's from 00-02. Also, on the Autos, you got the optional 3.23 gears. You couldn't get the WS6 package on top of the 1SH. It's a pretty rare package, but not with a whole lot of outstanding options. You could get the PS cooler, the Hurst shifter, and the 3.23's on any Formula or Trans Am during those years, so you could essentially build the same car, minus the badges, for less money. With that said though, I don't think the NHRA Edition is crap. Personally, as a drag racing fan, I'm attracted to it, and if I were in the market, I would be willing to spend a little more for it than I would the exact same car that wasn't an NHRA Edition. It all comes down to whether someone is looking for something that's different. If the buyer wants a bottom dollar, bang for the buck f-body, they should probably look for a based down LS1 Camaro. If they don't mind paying a little more for something with a little nastalgia, this would be a good car.

Point is...to me, the NHRA package isn't a major selling point of this particular car, so much, as the actual condition the car is in, which is damn near perfect.

And as far as the WS6 package goes, it was just:
    1. Non-functional Ram Air hood - This one has the Trufiber Hood.
    2. 17" wheels - This one has aftermarket ZR1's.
    3. Suspension - This car has a way better setup than a stock WS6. 4. Exhaust - This one has a better flowing dual setup anyway.
    4. WS6 airbox - This one has a WS6 airbox too. Basically everything that made the WS6 better than a regular Bird has been upgraded to WS6 "spec" or better on this one, and then some, so unless a purist just wants a true WS6 car to say they have it, it's a non-issue.

I would have given this some serious thought before I bought the Challenger. Most of the late 4th gens have been beat.

I really wish I could buy this car. I'd put a high rise on the back, change the dumps out for some one-chambers out the back, and then leave it the hell alone. Then I'd have a nice cruiser while I played with the TBSS and the Monte.

I think you mistook what I said. I edited my post some to clarify a little more. Basically, to me, the NHRA package doesn't add much value to the car. Being in near perfect condition DOES add value to the car. I think it's worth more like $11k to $12k

Or, you can just look up the value on NADA?

Can't use a cookie cutter system like NADA for an F-Body for anything more than a haggling point. They are too diverse at this point to use any kind of system. Each one is going to be completely based on its specific condition and the seller's situation. This one, for example RETAILS $7725 based on NADA. That would make private sale around $6000, which would personally make me sick to my stomach to see sold for that much. A good quick sale price for this car would be $8-9k. Roger, I'm sure, isn't just looking to dump the thing, so he can wait for that particular person, who may be out there waiting for one of these things. If he goes through the summer without selling it, I'd be willing to think he won't be too upset about it.

Correct.. I don't need to sell it. If I can't get about what I am asking It can just stay right where its at.
