I purchased my first car that was 100% mine when I was 22. Before this point they either payed for the car, paid part or they gave me something to trade.
That car, despite it's current rough shape is still in my driveway serving as my daily driver. At the moment it is also the only car in our family. (11 years and 190k)

anyways... back to the for-sale thread.

I tell you what though when this one is gone I won't miss all the competitive assholeism that came along with it. Back when I just had the Altima it was slow everyone knew it and there was no sense to even discuss power. It a was a good looking car with tasteful mods simple and clean. That will be the primary focus of my next project with a little more focus on power than before, but a "Waxer" if you will..

I can somewhat sympathize. With these kinds of cars, it's easy to get caught up in the "assholeism" pretty easy. The pressure you can put on yourself to "keep up" with the other cars in the same category can become cumbersome too..

You hit the nail right on the head with that one. I been hot and cold about the car we all knew this. Its really got to be your thing to stick with it.
