Dont feel bad Ruthless. I got mine all buttoned up and the new pump in the th400 exploded destroying my new 4K stall!! Bought another rebuilt pump it was junk, ended up saying fuck it and throwing the old pump and 2500 stall back in so I could get it moving.

I always try to be quiet in town... This bitch 2 houses down was complaining to my mom and dad about my car so I make sure to get on the throttle a little more past her house now...

This is a completely off topic thought, but I wonder if they would consider my TBSS as a Truck, or what. Don't know if Dan, or one of the other guys that talks to them fairly often might have an idea.

I can't figure them out. They had a pick up running with tuners, a jeep CJ with trucks and they make my import run with BigDogs

You'll be stuck in the same class with me...the one that gets screwed by the system, lol. They started by having me run in the truck class until I was getting more and more of a challenge. Then they changed it to 'diesel truck' and put me in street with all the v8 fbodies/foxes/etc. Then one time I was just playing with a bunch of guys and wasn't spraying, so without nitrous they put me back in the diesal aka truck class just so I could get beat up on. I mean maybe Im just sore from taking the beatings they set me up for. But I've decided this year I'm gonna run whatever class I have the best shot in. If the v8 guys can't hook then I'm running street class. If the iports don't have anything crazy show up (which they always do) then ill run import aka 'TUNER' or worst case I'll petition for me to stay in the truck class.

In reality it would be fair for us to have our own SUV class, but if they don't put johns cj in the big dogs class then we'll all get embarrassed anyway. Lol.

This is what was needed, screw all the bullshit.....back to racing!! I think getting rid of all the classes is the best thing that can be done up there, 4 hours of racing and having fun. If someone thinks they are faster then they call you out, guys are still going to get butthurt but hey thats racing. I think they finally figured out that they cant please everyone.

Love how they said about outlaw hour hot lapping or they lose! Now thats a street car event. Good on em

These guys change their minds way to much for me to keep up. If there are no classes then why split the outlaw hour off. Bunch of F'n cry babies ruined a good thing. I hope you are all happy now.

Makes no sense. They are not street cars and that's why they split them off. Who the hell can hot lap a 1500rwhp car being ran hard time and time again? Yes they can be street driven but even my car starts to heat up the trans and everything else after 8 hot laps. Hell I melted a few wires looms playing like that. Street driving has nothing to do with hot lapping at a track.

I dont see why your pissed brother. You want a trophy or your picture on the website? Dude you got a bad fast street car go up and have some fun putting it on other rides that think they are faster. We can go up and get 4 hours of racing now, I dont see whats wrong with that!

The wussification of everything just sucks but we cant hurt any ones feelings. Have the same crap going on at work. Killed off our yearly pig roast because some one complained. I have never won at one of these events but I like to try and set goals. I could care less taking out one car, give me a field of them to take down and then I "might" think I have a fast car. Until then its a slow pos.

Street cars never ever get hauled in... They have full sized front tires.... Run on 93 octane gas, if these events are for street cars then they should only let street cars in. If it's going to be a run what you brung then plainly call it that. Coming up with 50 excuses to call your race car a street car is plain stupid.

This is post isn't directed at anyone... I'm just an outsider looking at all the bickering, I haven't been to a FLD in over 3 years. I do however remember them being fun back in the 2006-8 timeframe.

I agree with Ryan. The cry babies killed the fun. The different classes was the best thing that happened IMO. If you didnt want to do it then you raced like normal. If you have a little bit of a competitive edge like most of us do, then you have a chance to be competitive. Not pointing at you Yellowrocket (I dont even know what you have) but most of the people that hated the classes were those who were not fast enough to compete. Pink slips was a lot of fun for me and I never got a trophy or my picture taken. Its my competitiveness that made it fun. Doing it how they do it now is like playing basketball without keeping score.

Now this is a street car event where the main event has nothing to do with street cars.
