    Default Keep ABS.. or just say F' it.

    For those that know of my WS6 and the planned turbo build I have a delima... of course to get everything out i had to take the ABS off, and all that jazz.. most of the rear ends i get will be a pain in the ass to have the wheel speed sensors, abs and all that on there. not to mention it adds weight.

    I've thought of putting the car back, Sans ABS because it's just more brake line to run. and more crap to do. I know the benefits of abs. I've driven with ABS most of my life. but I also know how to brake without abs ( because the old trucks i had when i was a kid didn't have abs)

    I know there are some good drivers on here, that know how to use the middle pedal, and was wondering what your thoughts were.

    The only time I ever wanted abs was on icy roads... Toss it

    ABS = crap

    Not to bash but, I find it more of an obstacle when driving on icy roads.

    I would ditch the abs. I agree with Kenny.

    ABS should be called ASS, because it's a pain in it... Ditch it.

    Depends on what you plan on doing with the car. If it going to be a straight line only car, then yeah I say ditch it. If it is meant to be a twisty car then I am fond of abs.

    It's going to be a wickedly evil car in every way hopefully.... small "pair" of turbos. for fast spool. should have boost anywhere I hit it..

    I've had my abs kick on a couple times in the vette when it wasn't susposted to because of the difference in tire size. ... pedal feels weird for a second.

    I've had abs kick in for the dumbest shit. I'll be pulling the fuse at every event from now on. It has failed me in straight line and autox.

    Dunno though, maybe it works better in some vehicles.

    Works like it's supposed to in the Cobra... I'm used to modulating the brake pedal for conditions so it rarely gets any action

    Just don't do what I did and put the extra work into keeping it and now the car sits on its drag wheels so the light is constantly yelling at me. Should have disabled mine.

    I deleted ABS and ride around on bigs and littles 24/7. Never an issue coming to a stop from 70 mph off the interstate or getting it in and out of traffic. Just dont drive like a fuck tard and you will be just fine.

    I ditched mine. Never had any issues. I do have a APV to control rear break bias.
