    Default Hill Climb Racing

Looks like it would be pretty fun! ... Sure the silly rules will out pace the fun though.

    here is one in Maryland

    http://www.polishmtnhillclimb.com/

    anyone know of any others?

One in PA apparently they have a couple.

I have to wonder if the fun would be worth it.

For some reason, you can almost tell that mustang was going to wreck by the first time he started turning into the first curve. That would be some fun stuff.

He said something broke on the car... But the aftermath of going over the guard rails made it hard to figure out what lol

Definitely worth it. I did this one last year. Will be doing it again this year and also hopefully making it to Summit Point to both Time Trials at the Jefferson Circuit, one by the SCCA-Blue Mountain Region and the other by the SCCA-Steel Cities Region. Polish mountain is hosted by the Steel Cities Region.
Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association is the organization that runs these. Their schedule is here: http://pahillclimb.org/about/schedule-results/

Here's 5 of my runs from that Sunday last year:

There are other events on the schedule in Pennsylvania but they are farther away. Polish Mountain is unique in that it is one of the only hillclimb locations in the country that has a separate return route that the state police shut down during the event so it can be run continuously.

Yes cage definitely required! Here's a very simplified rule book applicable to TT only, leaving out info applying to Club Racing and Solo:
