It is all about availability right now Kenny. I dont have an extra dime to put into it at the moment, so free 5.3 > paying for a 6.0

You could have just said free and that would have made sense. I have a 6.0 and it could be available someday but for now it has a lot of work to do.

You know what I mean, lol. Nothing is free, but by comparison, it is a hell of alot cheaper than shopping at the moment.

I am just glad Drod hasn't offered up any help. Because he would require a sexual favor in return. He such a whore.

If he'd give me the engine out of his car, I'd do whatever he wanted me to.

I had a feeling it was coming, but I still cried a little inside when we pulled the cam out and I saw I wasn't reusing it...

... Cam will make a nice lamp, ... maaaybe, put the cam on top of the crank and have a nice floor lamp? .. or two lamps, one out of the crank and one out of the cam... LoL.

Coffee table will be a nice use for that LS1 at this point..

after seeing said carnage, I am of the belief that running the car on 6 or 7 cylinders intermittently and them not making as much power atleast as the others weakened the rods & pistons on the cylinder that wasn't firing... then a few good full power runs caused the explosion.

The massive holes inside of the cylinder walls explain why water and oil were all mixed together and the bright puffs of white smoke coming out of the car at the races.

It weakens the pistons if you run them with a miss. I've seen the top part of the piston separate on the missing cylinder.
