Default What is your pipe style?

What systems do you have and run? What's your favorite pipes/mufflers?
This is the complete exhaust system on Mitchell777's '03 Cobra with the exception of the Kooks long tube headers still on the engine and was only removed for a Full tilt boogie IRS bushing install. It's all 3" all the way and uses aluminized tubing and collector ball flanges, 2 stainless QTP cutout pipes, 2 Magnaflow cats, stainless laminated Magnaflow x pipe, 2 round Magnaflow mufflers then exits through 2 4" polished stainless Magnaflow tips.
    This system is LOUD!

that's the ONE exhaust i've heard in person that i think is louder than my vette....

I have the resonators up front where his are in the vette. it's 3" to the axle back and then 2.5 or 2.75 out the back...

^-- your Vette definitely is loud too, one of the best sounding I've heard.
I think turbochargers are still my favorite muffler lol but Magnaflows are right after that followed by Corsa or Borla's

I have a Bassani X pipe no cats and a SLP loudmouth 1 back. I think it's louder than Steve's oil chugging LS1

I think the SLP LM1 was every bit as loud on my car with the cats on as my current setup. I've got some off-brand longtubes with 3" collectors, going into a Magnaflow Tru-X, then reduced to 2.5" to fit over the axle into Flowsound 1-chambers. I did it on a budget, but I like the way it sounds, so I'm happy w/ it. The truck has the stock manifolds and cats. I removed the stock y-pipe and replaced it with a 3"inch in/out Tru-X, into dual Race Bullets dumped at the back. It has a pretty nice tone, but I don't think it'll be just right until the cats and manifolds come off and the LT's go on. The Honda is stock and it's staying that way, lol.

I agree it is loud, but it doesn't have that mean bite like the vette, but definitely sounds better catless.

Not a huge fan of Bassani. I have a H-pipe, no cats, with Flowmaster & dumps. I can't tell you how many people think the car has cam.

My exhaust setup came from three different people and have no clue what the brand name of any of it is, but it's catless. I think it sounds good for a stock turboed subie. :-)
