My gf's dad finally got his car back together. Unfortunately he was just diagnosed with cancer. A week into his radiation treatments and he's getting kinda ill, so I don't know if it'll make it to the track this year or not.
He's a tough old guy though. I think he refuses to let anything including cancer kick his ass.

    Oh yea, the engine.. 1,513hp

Good luck with the treatment. Don't forget it can take its toll on caretakers too. My mom battled breast cancer and won twice. Then my father in law got bladder cancer. The day he got done with treatment my mother in law was diagnosed with breast cancer. It tends to wear them down physically and emotionally. We usually give them loads of lo e and support even when the treatment makes them short. But remember it can do quite the same to those around the patient. We were the primary caregivers for my mother in law and father in law so I've seen thus first hand. My advice is to work hard to stay active despite fatigue. Especially if you can make commitments. That usually helps to push everyone involved to stick to the plan. When you push through it and spend some time with people who care about you doing what you love it is sweet tasting medicine.
