Icon5 Tremec Magnum T-56 into 4th Generation Camaro

I want to install a Tremec Magnum T-56 Transmission into my 2002 Camaro Z28. For my next project I plan to run 700 RWHP. Is anyone familiar with this process?

Was it a manual or auto to start?

It is a T-56. I have coast vibrations at 75 mph + in 5th & 6th gears at 450 RWHP with 100k mi. I want to build a 454 cu. in. engine at about 700 RWHP. My needs will exceed a factory T-56. Hence a Magnum Tremec T-56 or a factory modified T-56. There have been issues with the shifter and output shaft on the Tremec.

Should be a pretty strait forward swap then.

Might want to go face plate it if you loan on doing a lot of drag racing .

Not quite!! A Tremec Magnum cost $3,000.00 plus $200.00 for a shifter. A re-built T-56 cost $4000.00. I was hoping for a group purchase discount or a re-build discount. I will take any discount or advice that I can get. I'm not proud.
