    Default Newest Cherokee project

I sold my Wrangler because I needed something I could actually wheel.
We owned the Cherokee about two years ago and sold it to a friend. We bought it back.
Its a 1995 Cherokee 2 door 5 speed with the Up Country Package. The 2 door 5 speed is rare but the package makes it even more rare.
245K miles and runs like a top still.
    Two weeks ago

First order was to lift it.
At that time I swapped in 3:55 geared axles. 1998 model Dana 30 and welded C8.25 29 spline. That replaced the 3:07 Dana 30 and Dana 35.
3" lift coils up front. 3" bastard pack in the rear. Leafs were stacked with Dodge Dakota leafs.
Adjustable track bar up front with disconnects.
    This is sitting on 225/75/15s

Because of the wheel wells it is hard to fit a large tire on a small lift. You need around 6" of suspension lift on a Cherokee to have a functional rig with 35" tires. I dont want a big gay truck.

Trimmed 3" form the front. Considering rolling a 1" lip inwards.

    3" of lift 225s

4" trimmed out of the rear.

    3" of lft with 35s
Not fully flexed but you get the idea. No clearance issues. The front is going to rub the inner well at full lock and full stuff. Should droop a bit better next week after the long arms.

As it sits now. Hoping to get some sliders, stiffeners and long arms done before our Harlan, KY trip on the 18th.

As its sitting right now waiting for some more work.
    35x12.50x15 under 3" of lift.

Its a reflection not a dent on the drivers side.

Nice man. Def appreciate a 4x4 build, especially on a Cherokee. How do you like the Mud Country's?

I've heard lots of great things about them in the mud... If I had a 4x4, I'd run them.

Back from Harlan. It did great. Surprised a lot of people. Ran Damnation, class 5. Ran quite a few class 4s. Didnt get to run Lions Den or Mason jar since we ran out of time. Next time though...
