Default Whats happing with this wheel ?

I polish my wheels just about every time I wash my car and some reason I just started noticing it in the last 4 or 5 times I've cleaned them its just like the chrome is chipping off and this is the only wheel that this is happing tall the others are basically spotless and the car hasn't even seen road salt as I know of also I've never got to close with a pressure washer to them .

Looks like corrosion to me, chrome coating could be coming off.

If it's just coated in chrome, and it's corroding, there may not be much you can do about it. Mine are polished aluminum, and when they started to corrode some, I used some vinegar and baking soda to scrub it off. Now I just clean them pretty aggressively with Mother's Power Metal and they keep a good shine.

would contact the manufacture since one of the 4 is doing it. it does look like the chrome is flaking off.

If it's peeling off, call the manufacturer. If they won't do anything, mask off the lips, scuff the rest, and paint them...

They were on their when I got the car about 2 years ago and I dont know how long they were on the car before we bought it but I'm pretty sure we have papers for them though like receipts because the guy had papers for everything he got for it in the middle compartment. So their might be a date on their because I've tried to look them up online and couldn't find a thing on them. I clean them with armour all wheel and tire cleaner then after I sprayed it off I wipe off the rest of the water and dirt with like a microfiber towel and then polish them with some mothers mag and aluminium polish.

Just clean them with soap and water is the usual manufacturer recommendation. I seriously doubt they would help at all after the wheels were older than 1 year.
