lol yea, the 4 popper can be annoying to drive sometimes but I enjoy it. I have a 4.0 TB on it with 4.88 gears and that helped alot.. Next up I'm going to experiment with a mild cam and also install a electric fan to free it up some.. My end goal is V8 but just don't have the funds right now.

I know how that is. I'm more than likely going to 4:88 but upgrading to an 8.8 with a limited slip before I end up breaking an axle out on the trails. I have a 93 cherokee with a 4.0 I just overhauled so I may do the swap when I get the green papery stuff you speak of.

One of my buddies has a 79' CJ-5 all fiberglass with a good frame and a healthy 304 he's trying to sell for around $2500. If you're interested let me know and I can get you his number.

Haven't been on here in awhile. Well last time I posted in this thread I had a cherokee and a TJ with the 4 cyl 5 speed with some goodies. Well I have neither now and bought a bone stock TJ 4.0l auto couple weeks ago and have beem building it. Ill post the progress below.

This is where I started when I bought it

Brand new Ion Alloys wrapped in 33x12.50 Wild countrys

After the lift (4" rough country lift with nitrogen shocks) and yes I realize my rear center cap is missing. I found it. lol

A little customization blacked out chrome bezzles and headlights

Waiting on adjustable trackbars and my KC highlites with windshield mounts!

Thank ya. Just put my drop pitman arm on yesterday. Just found out the UPS man dropped my adjustable track bars off this morning at home. So I will be putting those on tomorrow. Looks like Thursday I'll have my KCs and winshield mounts so I will post up pics when I get that much more done. Ordering bumpers and maybe arch fenders next week.
