    Very close after these events.
    Expensive head work

Assembled to the heads, hard to take a pic and include everything as it is soo massive:

This weekend the camshafts and rest of valve train are to be installed and the entire engine well on its way to complete.

All new and stainless yes, Oversized intake and exhaust valves, head deck surfaced, bowl blend, gasket matched and tappered back Comp cam valve springs, retainers, super locks upgrade package and 4 new Comp cams. Don't remember the brand on valves at this moment but timing chains, sprockets, chain guides, chain tensioners, lash adjusters, roller followers are all new Ford peices. Anything I forgot is MMR.
I need to verify but think the cams are spec'd like this: intake 215 duration @.050 exhaust is 217 duration @.050 both are .500 lift.

Sounds nice... who did the heads?

I think my cams are 234/240 with 0.504 lift.

Well, updates from me. The Cobra has been done for awhile and is currently as the shop awaiting the Install of its new upgrades. Maxxed out the 80lb injectors and methanol volume also fuel rail pressure sensor acting up but power was up 690whp@690wtq with 1500rpms to go yet On 24psi boost and 93 pump gas. Tuning stopped at that point since it was out of fuel. More updates after the parts are on and tuning commences.

Very nice. I'm not maxed out of fuel with my 60lb injectors at 665 on the 2v at 20 psi. I thought the 80's would have supported more than 700. What type of fuel pumps do you have? Do you have the stock Ford fuel efi line to fuel rail connector? Do have the pprv valve in the tank? Do you still have the pulse dampner in line? All these are huge restrictions. I still have stock fuel rails no meth inj etc. Removing these and doing the wiring upgrade to the fpdm saved me 15% on fuel pump duty cycle.

Only thing stock about the fuel system in this Mustang is the location of the fuel tank. The entire system is upgraded, -10 feed, -8 return. 320lph AEM alcohol/E85/gas pumps X2.
80lb injectors support 730ish fhp on a boosted 4v, this one was 790 fhp, the injectors were all in plus with the alky flowing no more fuel was available. Now it is running ID 1000 injectors, dual nozzle Alkycontrol upgrade. KB fuel rail pressure sensor anti blowout disc.

Well the E85 explains a lot. Even though the octane is higher and is more stable it takes more volume of fuel to support the HP you're producing. If not mistaken the AEM pump get s its fuel volume rating at 40psi which means at higher pressures it will deliver less than its 320lph rating. I run almost 40 psi at idle and about a lb of pressure for every lb of boost.

I still run a returnless set up with 2 Lincoln aviator pumps rated at 275lph at 60 psi. I also run a KB boost a set at full and on all the time. Which is suppose to increase output by 50%. So in a best case it show flow 775lph. At 40 psi it would increase about 33% more, but at wot near redline I'm seeing close to 60psi.

I'm still utilizing the stock fuel line up to the firewall then -8an to a russell an to Ford efi connector then stock fuel rails. I also upgraded the cross over line between the banks 1&2 fuel rails. Upgraded the power wire to the fpdm. Removed the pprv in tank along with removing the inline pulse dampner. Using 60lb injectors I no ptoblem supporting 665whp (780 ish at the crank) on 93 octane and only 15* of total timing. I was at 85% fuel duty cycle. I bought a very nice alcohol injection system but never installed it and ended up selling it.

Tuning is nearly finished but one more smaller pulley to try out. This is the update on 25psi.
